Victorian Emerald Green Glass Covered small Butter Dish. This is the very collectible Dewey pattern. The Greentown Book calls it a 1/2lb, 4" diameter Butter. Ht. is about 4 1/2". Made by Indiana Tumbler and Goblet Co. Circa 1900. No chips on the feet (which is rare to find in this pattern) and no leaves are missing on the flowers around the rim (which is also rare to find with the Dewey pattern). The lid does have a couple of flakes on the center base under the finial. |
