Jefferson Optic Butter

Custard butter dish made by the Jefferson Glass Co. Circa 1900.  The pattern was named by Heacock and he called it Jefferson Optic.  It has been called "Rose" by custard collectors.  It has the optic effect when held up to the light.  The decor is of beautiful pink and red roses.   The gold on this item is very good around the butter base.  No cracks or chips.  Very good condition. Ht. is about 5".
