Cranberry Satin Glass
Cruet
$ 250

Beautiful and Rare Victorian Art Glass Cranberry Satin Glass Cruet.  This is the Pseudo Cameo glass that was so popular in the late 1880's.  It could have been made by any of the really good glass houses in that era. Cameo glass was so expensive that other makers started making this type of Cameo glass to imitate the real thing and compete. It was a very good seller and was the down fall of the real Cameo glass era. It is very nicely decorated with white hand painted leaves on a trailing vine. Original satin honeycomb stopper. Ht. to top of stopper 8".  It has the Victorian #102 trade mark on the base.  Excellent Condition.
