Lamp Collectors, here is a rare one. It is called a Squat Globe by some companies. We have had it for some time hoping to find the metal for it, but never got it done. If you have the parts or can get them, what a beautiful blue lamp this would be. Pattern is Reverse Swirl, Speckled. It is Victorian Pattern Glass. It was either made by Northwood or Buckeye. Northwood held the patent for the speckling process. This ware is found in some known Northwood patterns, e.g. Paneled Sprig and Chrysanthemum Swirl. But some assume the Reverse Swirl is Buckeye. ??? The height is about 5 inches, the base diameter is 3 3/4" and the top diameter is 5 1/2". Please scroll down to see the second picture which shows the bottom side of this piece.
