Victorian and Very Unique, Extremely Rare and hard-to-find, non-satin Cigar Band Crystal Jewel Box by C. F. Monroe.  This Wave Crest Box is lined with cigar bands in the lid and on the sides.  It retains its Original Crimson Red satin lining in the lid and in the bottom.  The Gold Metal and the Glass are both in Excellent condition.   There are only 2 sizes of these boxes that were made with the cigar lining.  This one is the smaller with the size of  3 3/4" wide and 2 1/4" high.  The clasp works great and all of the cigar labels are in place.
