Ruby Stained Glass Victorian Era Salt Shaker. The pattern is called Truncated Cube and is shown in Heacock's Book 7. Made by Thompson Glass 1894; their No. 77 line. Therefore, it is also known as Thompson's 77 salt shaker. No souvenir markings. The ruby stain is excellent and the shaker is in very good condition with only some very minor roughness on the decor that sticks out, but there is a tiny hole in the center of the base which has been filled with glue. It doesn't take away from the appearance, and if it sitting on a shelf you wouldn't know it, but mention this for completeness. We didn't notice it when we bought it. We are selling this one, as is. This shaker is very similar at first glance to the Corona pattern which is more common. This one is much harder to find. The top appears to be original with some typical small dents and corrosion.
