This is a Victorian Satin Sugar Shaker or Muffineer with hand painted decor. We have shown three pictures to show the decor going around the shaker. It has an original top. Pattern is Northwood's Aurora Shape. Previously known as Hobbs' Ring Neck pattern. Common in spatter glass. It is unlisted, and quite rare. Northwood opalware glass is rare to find, and this is the only piece of satinized opalware we have seen in a Northwood shape. However, we have learned to not be surprised by anything issued by his factories. It is Excellent condition. Ht. 4 1/2".
