Victorian Amber and Satin Glass Sugar Bowl in the Adonis pattern which is sometimes called Gonterman Swirl.  Made by Aetna Manufacturing Co.  Circa 1890.  It is 4 3/4" high with the diameter of the opening 3 1/2".  This is an shiny Amber Glass ruffled rim fused to the satin glass base by a unique process that no other company used. This is actually amber colored glass and not amber stained. Excellent Condition.
