Victorian Crystal clear Glass Syrup made by Tarentum and called Heart with Thumbprint.  It still retains its original lid which has some splits in it, but it is fastened and very stable.  Circa 1898. Inside the lid it says, Pat apl 4  72.  A very old Lid and patent was for this style of lid.  Syrup is very clear and free of any cloudiness.  This pattern was produced in 2 sizes, this one is the smaller with the ht. of 5 1/4".
