Ruby Stained Victorian Era Toothpick Holder. Pattern Glass, i.e. seen in other pieces. Pattern is called Zipper Slash. It does not show well in pictures, but the base has indentations like large thumbprints bordered by "zippers".  The TP is in very good condition.  The stain shows a little wear but it looks better than the picture shows. (flood lights highlight every flaw).  This pattern is susceptible to heavy wear on the points. This one escaped except on two of them which have minor chips/roughness. TP introduced around 1900 and continued for many years by Geo. Duncan & Sons. Mildred is the name on this souvenir ware. TP height is about 2 1/2 inches high.
