Large Victorian Dresser Box. Seven (7") inches square, 4 1/2 in. high. Beautifully decorated in the style of the C F Monroe lines of Wave Crest or Nakara. We have been told that this box was made  by a contemporary of Monroe called Keystone Ware. Please scroll down and see the cross decor in green complimenting the yellow base color of the box. Between the arms of the cross are pink hearts with a yellow decor. The inner liner of pink must have highlighted this pink decor, but it is no longer there, only trace threads showing the original color. It is interesting to note that the decor features are outlined in white beads, so typical of Monroe Nakara designs. This ware is hard to find today, it is the first large piece we have ever seen. It is in excellent condition.
