Northwood's Alaska Shakers |
| A very special find. It has been rumored for some time that a toothpick in Northwood's Alaska pattern exists although a picture has not been seen. A collector found this pair of salt shakers in the square pattern. These are the only reported shakers in this shape which was undoubtedly the original shakers for the Alaska pattern. It is assumed that production problems caused Northwood to discontinue them and used the Klondyke shakers for the Alaska pattern. |
