| A collector reports that they found the
salt shaker that was named Melon, Eight Bulge in the ID project (SSC#
205) in its original holder. It is the third set seen in this identical
holder. It is very unusual because the shakers are clear but the holder
is frosted. Two sets had cranberry shakers, one set had a cranberry
shaker and a green shaker. The shakers remind one of the Venecia colors
(maker still unknown). The frosted base at first looks like a Gonterman
design but it is different. Any information on the possible attribution
of this set would be appreciated.
When first purchased, it was thought that the shakers did not belong in this holder. But now, since three sets are known in this holder, it confirms that it is original. |
